We love our families with kiddos! The Next Chapter is committed to nourishing the love of reading and learning in the youngest of our community, and we do so in a variety of ways. - The Next Chapter Kids Corner
- We have created a fun and inviting Kids Corner at the store, complete with our fan-favorite penguin chair, reading camper, and kids table! Kids can discover books, play, and relax while parents are shopping in a space made just for them.
- Story Time
- This FREE event happens every Saturday at 11am. Join Alexis for 3 themed stories, a craft, and a sweet treat. Best suited for younger kids, toddler-8 years old.
- Quarterly Holiday Parties
- Once per quarter, Story Time goes BIG for a holiday party! We will still read 3 themed stories, but the whole store is set up for multiple crafts, games, and activities, with even more treats!
- Kid's Book Box Subscription
- Build your child's picture book library one month at a time with this hand-picked subscription service! Each month your child will receive a brand-new-release hardback picture book selected by Alexis and Angela, plus a welcome gift with your first month. - Middle Grade Book Club
- A book club for readers 8-11 years old! The club meets every other month with Alexis to discuss their most recent read and do an activity related to the book.
